India has witnessed many changes in the year 2014. From new government formation to successful Mars Mission, 2014 India was its Best.Many incidents took place on Social media too especially on Twitter.Digital Dosa has complied the list of famous tweets from India in this "year of change".
1. Being Sarkari - Doordarshan did a blunder by Tweeting about BJP Parliamentary Affairs meet with PM Modi as " Man dressed as Santa on Christmas Eve , feeding Monkeys in China'.
2. Threat to Facebook - BJP Leader Subramanyam Swami Facebook Page deletion was another trending topic on Twitter for many days. Actually , instead of deleting the parody account of the leader , Facebook accidentally deleted his verified account which was later restored but in the mean while Swamy, a famous Supreme Court lawyer threatened Social Networking giant with his below Tweet
3. Tera Mera Tharoor - The Cat fight between Sunanda Pushkar late wife of then Union Minister Shashi Tharoor & his alleged girl friend Pakistani scribe Mehr Tarar was also came to the light from so called "misuse of Pushkar's Twitter Handle". This incident brought a great degree of embarrassment for the Minister.
4. KRK Again - Self acclaimed Bollywood "Superstar" & actor of handful + blunderful hindi movies Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) used Twitter to keep people believe that he was still alive & looked like he managed to get some eyes by abusing stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma. Latter also reacted upon KRK provocative remarks
5. The Cleavage Curve Episode - Following Tweet from one of the official Twitter handles of the Times of India Newspaper about the "show of cleavage" by Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone also draws some counter response by the actress which later turned like a gender biased activism between the Newspaper & the Actress
6. Star Sports "Un-Sport" - Million of fans shocked & surprised when they saw an abusive tweet from the official handle of Sports Channel "Star Sports India".Later, channel apologized & assured to probe the incident.
7. When MOM Tweets - With its maiden & successful Mars Mission when India was celebrating this big achievement, tweet exchange between official handles of NASA Curiosity Rover & Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) took Indians with more smiles
8. Ramu Tune Kya Kiya - In 2014 Famous Bollywood Producer & Director Ram Gopal Verma also decided to do some "tufaani" one day when he tweeted some objectionable stuff about Hindu God.Later, amid controversy he apologized & played innocent.
